Sega’s upcoming JRPG Shining Resonance Refrain has three big themes. The first and most obvious is waifus, with Toni Taka’s lovely art style bringing to life some really charming female characters, the second is music, and the third is dragons, lots of dragons.
Dragons are exactly what today’s brand new trailer is all about, even if there are still plenty of waifus to enjoy.
If you’re unfamiliar with the game, it’s the remaster for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC of the original Shining Resonance from 2014. The game never made it west, probably because it was limited to PS3, and back then Sega didn’t localize games as much as it did today.
You can enjoy the trailer below. If you want to see more, you can check out the first Nintendo Switch screenshots, the recent announcement of the western localization of the title, and the first gameplay in English.
Shining Resonance Refrain already launched in Japan for PS4 on March 29th, 2018. The western release will come for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 10th. You can already pre-order the game on Amazon.
