Shadow of the Tomb Raider is definitely an incredibly pretty game. When I jumped in on my Xbox One X when it hit Xbox Game Pass, I thought it was one of the best looking games I have ever played. However, the game is going to start looking even better for players on PC after a patch.
Over on the game’s Steam page, the latest patch notes were released. The patch has added support of Nvidia RTX which includes Nvidia’s Ray-Traced Shadows.
If you are unaware of how this looks, take a look at this video example in Battlefield 5. When I say that it makes games look jaw-dropping, I mean it. After seeing that video, I actually questioned myself on building my own PC. However, that quickly faded once I remembered how expensive that can be. Call me old fashioned, but I think I will probably be a console gamer for life, no matter how good games look on PC.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider is currently available for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you are a bit weary on picking up the game, make sure to read DualShockers’ review of the title. Despite the praise of the last few titles, Logan and many other critics reception of the latest entry were a bit lukewarm. If you are interested in picking it up, you can do so right here through Amazon, though, if you are an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, the game is available there.
