WWE wrestler Ronda Rousey came out for tonight’s WWE Elimination Chamber dressed in looks that could kill…literally. Rousey donned a Sonya Blade outfit featuring a cap, vest, and boots to embody the fearless soldier of Earthrealm. This is fitting that Rousey dress up as Blade, probably because of the fact she is voicing the Mortal Kombat 11 character.
Ronda Rousey was announced for the character exactly a month ago at the Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event in Los Angeles. Rousey seems like the perfect person for Sonya Blade, mainly because she can do some serious damage in real life as well.

Rousey went up against Ruby Riott in the WWE ring tonight, and it looked like the Elder Gods were watching over her tonight. Rousey took out Riott in the Women’s Championship and gained the title belt. Unfortunately to many people’s disappointment, Ronda did not, in fact, perform a Fatality on Riott concluding the match. But jokes aside, it’s great to see Sonya Blade earn a flawless victory in real life, so kudos to Ronda Rousey.
Sonya Blade isn’t the on Mortal Kombat character buzzing this past week, Jade was announced for Mortal Kombat 11 last week. The assassin is equipped in a long pole for crazy combo extensions and counters, as well as blades for zoning and setups. Jade seems to be a much faster character as opposed to the majority of the cast as well, showing that she will definitely be quite the aggressive character.
Mortal Kombat 11 is expected to release April 23 for PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
