Alongside the start of the Epic Games Store’s new sale last week, Epic also announced that it would soon be offering new, free games on the platform every single week rather than every two weeks. Now, we know which two titles will be the first to release for free with this new promotion.
From now until May 30, Rime, the 2017 adventure title from Grey Box and Tequila Works, is currently available to download for free on the Epic Games Store. If you haven’t played Rime before, I highly recommend that you give it a shot, especially if you love games like Ico and Shadow of the Colossus. It might not hit the same highs as those aforementioned games, but Rime has some special moments to be certain.
In addition to Rime being available this week, we also know what will be made free next week as well. Uppercut Games’ first-person action adventure game City of Brass will be landing on the Epic Games Store for free starting on May 30 and will last until June 6. City of Brass first launched back in 2018 and was developed by a team of former Bioshock devs. You can read our review right here if you’d like to learn more.
All in all, this is a pretty solid slate of games to be made available for free if I do say so myself. If you want to add them both to your own PC library, just head over to the Epic Games Store and you can start downloading Rime right now.
