Big Mac or Big Vampire Lady?
Resident Evil Village launched last Friday and since then, its bizarrely freaky world filled with grotesque monsters and scary scenarios has kept us all entertained – and maybe awake at night, too.
Even though Capcom’s latest instalment into the murkiness of Resident Evil released just before the weekend, there are some people who just couldn’t wait to get stuck into the game.

As seen over on Reddit and posted by Epickartoffelz, McDonald’s had to release a statement indicating that they are short-staffed due to workers wanting to spend time with RE8’s Lady Dimitrescu instead of flipping burgers. Who could really blame them?
The sign posted in what looks to be the drive-thru area also asked customers to “please be patient” as it seems that employees would rather spend their time elsewhere “Thanks to the giant vampire wife nobody wants to work anymore”.
Of course, this could just be a funny joke and not something that actually happened but it’s certainly not surprising given the hype around Mistress Dimitrescu and the entire game as a whole. In the first 24 hours upon launching, Resident Evil Village had more than 100,000 fans playing the game on Steam overtaking its sequel, Resident Evil 7, by a record number.
If the idea of getting chased by the seductive vampiress leaves you weak at the knees and scared at the same time, just wait until you get to House Beneviento where one of the most horrific encounters happens in possibly the entire Resident Evil franchise.
