Circle Ent took to Twitter today to tease fans with a mystery. To bring in the new year, They’re is set to announce a new Nintendo Switch title on January 1:
Circle Ent is known for publishing a number of titles on Nintendo Switch for a variety of different locations, including Opus: The Day We Found Earth, SteamWorld Dig 2, and The Legend of the Dark Witch 3. In other words, their specialty revolves around localizations of smaller indie titles. Much of their work is known best in Asia, where they release under the name Fly High Works.
In 2017, Circle Ent released 30 new games on various platforms. Even for a publisher, that’s quite impressive. What’s more impressive is the quality of said games like SteamWorld Dig 2 and Teslagrad.
Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve heard of mysterious Switch reveals via Twitter. Within this last year, Nicalis’ has offered a handful of vague, sneaky reveals, including 1001 Spikes and Cave Story back before the Nintendo Switch was even released.
More news on this mysterious new title has not been revealed, with Circle Ent keeping their cards close. However, DualShockers will report more details as they’re announced on January 1, 2018. Check out the tweet below:
