Sony has released the list of free games for PlayStation Plus November 2018 which includes:
- Yakuza Kiwami (PS4)
- Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition (PS4)
- Jackbox Party Pack 2 (PS3)
- Arkedo Series (PS3)
- Burly Men At Sea (PS Vita + PS4)
- Roundabout (PS Vita + PS4)
Yakuza Kiwami is a remake of the very first Yakuza game from the PlayStation 2 utilizing the Yakuza 0 engine. It released in August 2017 making it the most recent game on this list to be given away to PlayStation Plus subscribers. This remake includes the addition of Majima, the popular Yakuza 0 character who has been given a more prominent role thanks to his popularity.
Bulletstorm: Full Clip Edition is a remaster of the original Bulletstorm game from 2011 that released in April 2017. People Can Fly, the main developer on this game, was acquired by Epic Games and renamed to Epic Games Poland in 2012 before becoming independent yet again in 2015 and reverting to their old name and logo. Despite this, they are working with Epic Games on the Save the World portion of Fortnite.
Jackbox Party Pack 2 is the 2015 iteration of the game and while it includes a version of Quiplash it does not feature the best Jackbox mini-game Tee K.O.
Arkedo Series is a collection of 3 vintage-style games such as a platformer, a match-4 game, and an adventure game. This collection comes from French developer Arkedo Studio. Their last game was released in 2013 and their site is currently for sale which leads me to believe the original studio is no longer in existence. The PlayStation 3 version is maintained by Sanuk Games, who appear to be one of the many publishers who put out all those Wii and DS games that tried to capitalize on the casual players.
Burly Men at Sea is an, “adventure game about the misadventures of a trio of large, bearded fishermen,” developed by Brain&Brain and included in the Single Sitting Bundle on Steam so you can easily complete it in a day on your PlayStation 4 or Vita.
Roundabout is a comedy game in which you must deliver passengers to their destination while controlling a constantly spinning limousine. The most attractive aspect of this game is the FMV cutscenes featuring some corny live action actors.
All of these games will become free for PlayStation Plus users on November 6, 2018. In the meantime make sure you have already redeemed the October PlayStation Plus games which includes Friday the 13th: The Game, Laser League, Master Reboot, The Bridge, Rocketbirds 2: Evolution, and 2064 Read Only Memories.
