Atlus published a new short gameplay sequence for Persona 5 Royal on the official PR twitter. This time we see new Phantom Thieves member Kasumi Yoshizawa during one of the new school events.

Kasumi introduces herself to Joker as a first-year student. She notices the little girl letting go of her balloon and masterfully catches it in mid-air. Morgana notices something about Kasumi, but the scene changes before we hear what. With a smile, Kasumi then tells the girl to be more careful.
Kasumi introduces herself here, but we’ve already seen her very first meeting with Joker. Meaning she’s reintroducing herself shortly after they met, and that this new school event happens pretty early in the story. Hence why her portrait name still only says “a student named Yoshizawa”.
Atlus is also showing us once again how big Kasumi’s appetite is. She’s the sole person eating in that scene.
Persona 5 Royal launches on October 31 in Japan, in 2020 in the west, exclusively on PS4. You can wake up, get up and reach the staff for questions or remarks through Morgana. Morgana will also regularly stream and show us more about the game, through his “Morgana’s Report”. We’ve covered the first stream.
