Only a few short months ago, Paper Mario: The Origami King was randomly revealed by Nintendo. Even though there had been plenty of gossip that a new installment in the long-running Paper Mario series could be seen this year, we finally got it confirmed and lately, even got to see some new gameplay footage. While we are still almost at a week until its release next Friday, 17, Nintendo has thought up of an ingenious way to push their upcoming title and that’s with a unique, origami-style pamphlet that has mastered the games core mechanics into one neat little advertisement.
Paper Mario: The Origami King is the sixth game in the Paper Mario series, part of the larger Mario franchise, and consists of the player controlling a paper version of Mario in a 3D world that fuses other paper and three-dimensional constructs, including origami sculptures. In line with the games origami theme, Nintendo has crafted together a wonderful looking promotional leaflet in Japan displaying lots of different pieces of information and art as you continue to unfold each section. Twitter user PushDustIn records themselves unfolding the really cool pamphlet in a video that you can see below as well as some close-up pictures of the design in its entirety.
