Blizzard Entertainment announced today the adorable hamster Wrecking Ball will finally be making his way into the base version of Overwatch beginning next week.
Wrecking Ball was revealed to the world late last month and has since been available for play in the public testing region on the PC. Next week on Tuesday, July 24, he will be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and the PC version of the game for all players.
In case you missed his reveal last month, Wrecking Ball, whose name is Hammond, is hamster that rides in a large battle tank. Fittingly, Wrecking Ball plays as a tank character that primarily uses his vehicles massive turrets and a handful of mines to defeat enemy players.
Wrecking Ball’s arrival marks the 28th character in Overwatch and he is the first character that has been added since Brigitte back in March of this year. For more on Wrecking Ball, be sure to check out his character origin story that Blizzard released a few weeks ago.
