With the Overwatch World Cup’s Top 8 kicking off next weekend, it’s almost easy to get distracted from the wealth of preparation that is involved in bringing new teams to the 2019’s official Overwatch League.
As information continues to drip out about rosters and locations, the official names for two of the upcoming teams have finally been unveiled; The Toronto Defiant and The Atlanta Reign.
The Atlanta Reign will be operating under a smooth grey and red color scheme. The team’s emblem sports the city’s seal; a powerful phoenix with a crown positioned above its head.
The Toronto Reign will be seen in a combination of red, black, white, and grey designed to represent the resilience, strength, and character of Toronto. The sharp black letter D that makes up the logo is almost cyberpunk in appearance, giving off a feeling a danger.
Each team has official social media accounts on Instagram and Twitter where fans can keep up with the news concerning events, players, and character preferences. Each of their Twitter pages has already gained more that 20,ooo followers.
So far, the rosters have been kept firmly under wraps but you have check out the logos and team colors in the images below.
