If you have yet to play Blizzard’s hero shooter Overwatch, now might be your chance. From now until May 28, you can play the game for free on the platform of your choice.
Whether you primarily play games on PC, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One, you can play Overwatch right now until 11:59 pm PT. PC players will have to install Battle.net and create an account to install the game. If you’re on PlayStation 4, you can search “Overwatch” in the digital store and select “Overwatch Free Weekend” in the results section. Similarly, Xbox One players should search “Overwatch” in the Xbox One Store, select Overwatch: Origins Edition, then select the free trial.
If you decide you like what you’re playing, you can pick up the standard version and the new Legendary Edition of Overwatch now for $20 off bringing them down to $19.99 and $39.99 respectively. The new edition comes with 5 epic and legendary skins, the origin skins, and more Overwatch-inspired content for Blizzard’s other games including World of Warcraft, StarCraft II, Heroes of the Storm, Diablo III, and Hearthstone. The offer ends on June 4.
In other Overwatch-related news, the Overwatch Anniversary 2018 event has begun bringing new rewards and a brand new map to the game. The event will end on June 11.
