Overwatch Archives 2021 Event
The Archives Event in Overwatch is back for 2021. Players can experience story-driven co-op missions from pivotal moments in Overwatch history in this Archives Event.
Players will also be able to earn special Archives Loot Boxes during the event. These special Loot Boxes will contain skins, intros, emotes, and sprays, all of which are inspired by moments from Overwatch’s past.
It’s not all just about the Loot Boxes though, players will also be able to complete special Challenge Missions for rewards.
But when does the big Archives Event kick off?
Release Date
The Overwatch Archive Event will begin on April 6 and last right up until the end of the month, on April 27.
Players will have a total of 3 weeks to complete the special Challenge Missions, and unlock various skins, sprays, and emotes. Make sure you’ve got your squad ready for this 3 week-long event.
Start Time
Although the Archive Event is set to kick off today (April 6), there’s no official word from Overwatch or Blizzard themselves as to just when exactly the event will start.
However, that doesn’t mean we can’t make a pretty good guess. Based on previous Overwatch events such as the Archives Event from 2020, we expect the start time for the 2021 event to be the following:
7PM BST / 2PM ET / 11AM PT
These are however just our personal predictions on the event start time, so they may vary. Keep your eye on the official Overwatch Twitter account for updates on the 2021 Archive Event start time.
