Square Enix has released a new trailer showing off the next character coming to Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia. Noctis Lucis Calum will be coming to the mobile title on Thursday, November 29. You can check out the trailer down below to see all of Noctis’ skills in action.
Noctis will be the first character from Final Fantasy XV, and rightfully so considering he’s the game’s main protagonist. His move set will include “Shooting Star,” and “Death Drop,” both of which are also skills in the most recent Dissidia title, Dissidia Final Fantasy NT.
Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia is a mobile game that brings together nearly all of the heroes and villains across the entire Final Fantasy series. In my opinion, it’s a bit more enjoyable than Dissidia NT due to its more familiar turn-based combat and long story. Of course, as with many crossover games, the story’s a bit nonsensical but it sure beats the lame story mode in NT. The game also includes so many additional characters from the Final Fantasy series that didn’t make the cut in NT.
Speaking of which, Zack Fair from Final Fantasy VII recently joined the cast of Opera Omnia. That event ends soon so be sure to grab him if you haven’t already.
Dissidia Final Fantasy: Opera Omnia is available now on iOS and Android devices for free. I reviewed the console Dissidia title back when it launched earlier this year, you can check that out too if you haven’t already.
