Following yesterday’s reveal on Famitsu, today Bandai Namco released the first direct feed screenshots of the new Summer Lesson PlayStation VR game, titled after its heroine Summer Lesson: Chisato Shinjo Seven Day Etude.
In the game, the player is hired as the private tutor of the home-schooled grand-daughter of a wealthy man, Chisato Shinjo. She lives in an old-fashioned western-style mansion, knows very little about modern society. We’ll have to teach her everything about it, from using personal computers to enjoying manga, and games, as well as common sense among normal people. Basically, she’s your anime trope ojosama in need of an anime trope commoner to fall for.
Like the trope, she is rather spoiled and difficult, and initially she will treat the player poorly because he’s just an employee.
Four DLC packages will also be released, providing additional content:
- Chisato Shinjo’s Red Carpet Magic Hour (Additional Experience Pack)
- Chisato Shinjo’s Cool Breeze Break Time (Additional Experience Pack)
- Chisato Shinjo’s Extra Scene: Twilight of Youth (Costume and Situation)
- Chisato Shinjo’s Extra Scene: Fashion Show (Costume and Situation)
Summer Lesson: Chisato Shinjo Seven Day Etude will release on October 12th in Japan, with pre-orders opening on the local PlayStation Store today, including a Deluxe Edition with a DLC pass, and a standard edition, priced respectively at 8,320 yen and 2,980 yen.
Those who pre-order the game will receive an exclusive PS4 theme featuring super deformed Chisato, and two costumes, “Dusky Colored Blouse” and “Black Embroidered Blouse“.
