Eidos Montreal and Square Enix released a new Shadow of the Tomb Raider video starring Development Tester Bianca Lavric.
Lavric talks about the complexity of the AI, and how the team is testing it to make sure that everything works properly. We also get a hint about a helicopter scene, but no further details on that.
Interestingly, we get to take a look at development footage, in which the team works on the pathing of the AI in the jungle environments of the game. Do keep in mind that this kind of in-engine render does not include lighting or effects, so what you see is not what you’ll get.
You can check the video out below. If you want to learn more about gameplay, you can enjoy DualShockers’ own preview. You can also check out another recent video, and one from the same series released a few days ago, alongside a second clip, a third one, a fourth which is particularly interesting, as it provides a look at machinery and puzzles. We also got a fifth video on lighting, and the most recent one from yesterday about visual effects.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will launch on September 14th for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. If you want to grab a copy of the game, you can currently pre-order it on Amazon.
