If you actually thought we were done talking about Black Ops 4’s massive content drop known as Operation Spectre Rising then think again. While the new content itself is out and in players hands, Treyarch is still dropping videos for the new season. One of those videos includes a brand new, fully rendered cutscene featuring everyone’s favorite Specialist Spectre decimating areas in Blackout.
As hinted at in the season’s original trailer, Spectre (for reasons made unclear) blows up the Hydro Dam located at the northeast part of the map, which then floods a ton of different areas, including Factory, Cargo Docks, Rivertown, and more. While the trailer itself doesn’t show any game, it adds more to the story, which was sorely lacking in Black Ops 4. Of course, you can check out the full one-minute cutscene at the end of the article.
For those that don’t know, in addition to the new Specialist, the new season also added weapons, multiplayer skins, Blackout characters, and more to the first-person shooter. On top of that, Black Ops Pass holders also received two brand new Multiplayer maps (Artifact and Masquerade), as well as a remastered version of WMD from Black Ops 1, completely free of additional charge.
In other Black Ops 4 news, earlier today a brand new edition for the game appeared on the PlayStation Store out of nowhere, which includes an assortment of microtransactions free.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. If you want to pick up the game on Amazon, you can do so by clicking here.
