After releasing what can only be described as a beefy update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on Tuesday, Treyarch decided to release a new tutorial type video that went over some of the new changes that made their way to Blackout, but there was no indication that it was going to be more than just a one-off. Now, it seems, that assessment was wrong, as earlier today the developer released another Briefing video, this time centered around the new multiplayer map Lockup.
The video, while shorter than it’s predecessor, does do a good job of explaining the different pathways, jump points, and flanking positions scattered around the half-elevated map. Given the fact that it doesn’t follow the standard three-lane layout that COD fans are used to and its two different sides of a map at different elevations, this is a welcome addition. Hopefully, Treyarch continues to make a Briefing video around Casino and the other changes made to the game. Of course, you can check out the full video at the end of the article.
For those that don’t know, Lockup is one of two multiplayer maps that were made available to Black Ops Pass users when the Operation Grand Heist update went live earlier this week. As you can see from the video, the former takes place in a Los Angeles Police Department station, while Casino takes place in, you guessed it, a casino.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
