If you can’t wait to learn more about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 before its May 12, 2018, reveal event, then maybe this will hold you over. Developer Treyarch has officially revealed a brand new calling card for its last game, Black Ops III, and of course, it’s themed after the upcoming first-person shooter.
The calling card is fairly simple and features Black Ops 4’s, now infamous, “IIII” symbol, which has turned into a bit of a meme the past couple of days since its original leak. If you want to check out a preview of the calling card, you can do so in a tweet from the official Treyarch Twitter account below. Although you cannot tell by the image, the calling card is animated, with lines splitting down the middle of the symbol similar to the game’s teaser trailer.
Obtaining the calling card is pretty simple. Any player who simply logs in to Call of Duty: Black Ops III from March 9, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 p.m. EDT) to March 12, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. PST (1:00 p.m. EST) will receive the calling card completely free of additional charge.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to be officially released on October 12, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
To celebrate the pending October launch of #BlackOps4, any player that logs in from March 9 (10AM/PT) to March 12 (10AM/PST) will receive a Commemorative Calling Card.
