The next installment of the long-running Pokémon series is just around the corner with the upcoming Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Pokémon: Let’s Go Eevee launching later this year for Nintendo Switch. However, it seems that there’s still left in the last generation as a new mythical monster is due to arrive in Pokémon: Ultra Sun and Pokémon: Ultra Moon later this month.
Originally revealed back in April, the new pokémon is an electric type named Zeraora. It has feline-like features with yellow and black fur. It also sports a pair of blue lightning bolt shaped whiskers.
Those based in the UK can currently pick up download codes for Zeraora from their local GAME stores. These will be available until November 15. However, those residing in the US will have to wait until October 19 to get their hands on the new mythical pokémon. It will be available from Gamestop outlets in America until November 9.
Pokémon: Ultra Sun and Pokémon: Ultra Moon launched late last year and built on the groundwork laid by the previous year’s releases. Both titles are available now on 3DS.
Zeraora, featured in the #PokemonTCG: Sun & Moon—Lost Thunder expansion, will soon be available for your #PokemonUltraSunMoon game! 🌩️ US Trainers, head to @GameStop October 19 to November 9 to add this mighty Mythical Pokémon to your game. https://t.co/JGNgAnm8xI pic.twitter.com/va4pOByora
