Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier Goes Back to the Basics with SSR Class Rep and Ayamine

DMM introduced a new event to its Muv-Luv free-to-play game Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier titled “Settling the Score: The two’s fate – Hell Class“.

This time around, it’s quite noticeably a newbie-friendly event, as there are a lot of bonus units for the event battles, and quite a few of them are easy to obtain.

Just by playing the event and increasing the score to a certain value (or by dropping them in battle), you can also get a SSR “Naughty Cat” Kei Ayamine and a Type-97 Fubuki armed with a sword.

The weekly gacha comes with an “Angry Dog” SSR Chizuru Sakaki, and a Type-77 Gekishin.

If you’re wondering, this is definitely a reference to a certain battle that happens in both Muv-Luv Unlimited and Muv-Luv Alternative, in which both Chizuru and Ayamine are heavily featured.

Another element that makes the event very newbie-friendly, is that it provides a ton of gacha ticket, including up to ten SR tickets and three guaranteed  SSR tickets. That’s a pretty big boon for players who have just started.

In other Muv-Luv news, the visual novels for PC have just been relaunched on Steam after over a month of absence due to a publisher change. If you want to read more about them, you can check out my review. You can also read Creator Koki Yoshimune’s comments on his wish to have international creators write their own Muv-Luv stories, and to expand the series to new genres and platforms.

Muv-Luv Alternative: Strike Frontier is currently available for iOS, Android, and on browsers for PC.
