Xbox Game Pass just keeps getting more stellar titles and it looks like April could be one of the service’s best months so far.
As announced this morning on Xbox Wire, Xbox Game Pass is getting six new additions over the next few weeks. The first two new titles will be headed to Game Pass starting tomorrow and include Arkane Studios’ Prey and The Golf Club 2.
The following week on April 18, one of the most monstrous (pun intended) additions to Xbox Game Pass in quite some time will be arriving. Capcom’s excellent 2018 release of Monster Hunter: World will be made available for free to those subscribed to the service along with Telltale’s The Walking Dead: A New Frontier, which is the third season of the narrative-driven series.
Rounding out the month on April 24, Dontnod Entertainment’s ongoing series Life is Strange 2 — Episode 2 will be landing on Game Pass. Finally, on April 25, Resident Evil 5 will be joining the service so that you too can finally kick Albert Wesker into a volcano if you haven’t done so before. Also, spoilers.
All in all, this is a pretty fantastic month, in my opinion. Seeing one of last year’s best games in Monster Hunter: World land on Xbox Game Pass a little over a year after originally releasing is a pretty big deal. Plus, Prey remains one of the most underrated games of the past few years. Make sure to give it a shot if you haven’t before.
If you’re still not an Xbox Game Pass subscriber, you can join the service now and get your first month for $1. After that, every subsequent month will set you back $9.99.
