Some of the required skills are pretty peculiar and can be noted as well. Such as translators being required to be very familiar with anime, manga, novels, games, and otaku culture in general. This makes perfect sense seeing Genshin Impact‘s and miHoYo‘s otaku nature.
It’s also important to note that Genshin Impact is suffering from a few instances of weird grammar or typos in its Japanese text. Especially in the story dialogues of time-limited events. I can vouch for that as well as someone who speaks Japanese. Having a bigger localization team will definitely be a huge help.
miHoYo is hiring and buffing all aspects of its development teams in Japan, including for Genshin Impact. The game is popular worldwide, and the Japanese player base is also massive. It’s likely that miHoYo will be recruiting soon outside Japan as well.
What does this means for future Genshin Impact content?
Overall, it means that now, five months after the launch of Genshin Impact and its unprecedented success, miHoYo is expanding even more and is gearing up. Not only for Genshin Impact‘s future, but also for Honkai and all its projects. It’s definitely exciting news.
Hu Tao is the latest character who joined Genshin. We’ve got some help right here if you’re struggling with her Story Quest.
If you missed it, be sure to check the details regarding Hu Tao’s English and Japanese voices. If you’re planning to spend for Hu Tao, you might want to check out the Staff of Homa, the Lithic Blade and the Lithic Spear. Though I’d personally advise against spending money on gacha games, especially not on the unreliable weapon banners in Genshin.
miHoYo also revealed a new Web Event, A Wanmin Welcome. Be sure to check our tips for getting the Klee figure as well.
Genshin Impact is a free-to-play open world action JRPG, available on PC, PS4, PS5 via backward compatibility, and Mobile. The game was also announced on Switch, but with no release date.
