It hasn’t even been a month since Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse released, and we’re already getting more crossovers. No, Tobey McGuire isn’t coming for the sequel. Insomniac, the developer for Marvel’s Spider-Man, congratulated Sony Pictures Animation for the Golden Globe award for the best animated feature film.
Congrats to our friends at Sony Pictures Animation on their Golden Globe win!

It’s always great to see these creators come together and support each other under one web-slinging roof. And with Insomniac’s game up for awards at this year’s GDC, we could be seeing Sony Pictures Animation congratulating Insomniac right back in March.
Marvel’s Spider-Man is nominated for 6 awards at this year’s Game Developers Choice Awards, including for “Best Design” and “Game of the Year”. With tough competition in every category with big hitters like God of War and Red Dead Redemption 2, it will definitely be an uphill battle for those awards. You can watch the awards show on March 20 on Twitch.
And if you haven’t already, you can pick up Marvel’s Spider-Man exclusively for PS4 on Amazon. Make sure to download the Sam Raimi suit though, so you can swing webs and deliver pizzas the right way. Also make sure to check out Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to get even more of your Spidey fix.
