March 10 is here and we can all celebrate the most iconic plumber in history and everything he has created. Personally, I might hop into a few games myself to get those fuzzy nostalgic feelings back. However, if you have not picked up some of the latest Super Mario titles, Amazon is having a sale on a bunch of titles to celebrate “MAR10 Day.”
To start we have New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, a port of the game that originally released on the lonely old Wii U. Despite being another iteration into the New Super Mario series, this title, in my opinion, stood out as one of my favorite Mario titles. It is easy to write the game off, however, if given the chance, it might just surprise even the most veteran Nintendo fans. You can pick up a digital version of the game through Amazon.
Next up, we have Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, another port of a Wii U game. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe managed to capture the magic of the series and provides the best Karting experience in video games. If you are one of the few people who hasn’t picked up this game, I would really recommend it. Sliding off the Joy-Cons and playing multiplayer in tabletop mode is actually a very comfortable and fun way to experience the game as well if you are put in that situation. Super Mario Party was a great return to the series. It did not reinvent the wheel, however, it managed to capture those perfect Mario Party moments that we all have experience. Such as your college roommates somehow stealing my stars at the end of every game and winning despite me winning all the mini-games. I am looking at you, Josh! Mario Tennis Aces may not have had been the story based Mario sports title we have been wanted, but the online experience was one of my favorites from last year. I loved and poured so many hours into the online tournaments that the game cracked my top 10 favorite games of last year. Pick up your digital code right here through Amazon.
Finally, Super Mario Odyssey was the return to form that fans were asking for. The game encapsulates that freedom of Super Mario 64 and Sunshine while simultaneously building onto that formula. The combination of masterful gameplay, incredible level design, and wonderful music creates one of the best Mario titles in the entire franchise.
