Dontnod and Square Enix released the first episode of their episodic adventure game Life is Strange 2 just last week on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Today, we learned that those aren’t the only platforms in the pipeline, as Feral Interactive has announced that they are working on the Mac on Linux ports for Life is Strange 2.

Life is Strange 2 will be hitting Mac and Linux sometime in 2019. It is currently unclear if it will release on these platforms episodically as well, or if they’ll wait to release it until all of the episodes are out. For those of you who don’t know about Life is Strange 2, it is a sequel to the popular 2015 episodic game Life is Strange, though it follows a different set of characters.

In this case, it follows Sean and Daniel Diaz, two brothers running away to Mexico after an incident in Seattle. DualShockers’ Ryan Meitzler really liked the first episode, giving it and 8.0 in his review and saying “Life is Strange 2‘s first episode is a confident and engaging piece of storytelling.”

If you’ve never heard of Feral Interactive, they are a developer known for the Mac and Linux ports of tons of titles. They’ve previously worked on the Mac and Linux ports of the original Life is Strange as well as Life is Strange: Before the Storm, so it makes sense that they’d be working on this as well.

Below, you can check out the Mac and Linux announcement trailer for the episodic game. Life is Strange 2 is currently available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and will be hitting Mac and Linux as well in 2019.
