It seems we are only a fortnight into delving into a descent of artistic madness on Nintendo Switch. In a recent announcement from developer the Bloober Team, Layers of Fear: Legacy will be coming to Nintendo Switch on February 21, 2018.

For those who haven’t heard of it, Layers of Fear is of the emerging indie horror games from the growing movement, this one focusing on artistry and psychological horror. The up-and-coming developer Bloober Team has consistently mentioned their devotion to psychological horror, something they mirrored in an interview with DualShockers earlier last year.

Layers of Fear began as an Early Access game on PC, before officially launching on February 16, 2016 for PC, Ps4, and Xbox One. The game focuses on an unnamed protagonist artist looking to create his masterpiece. However, each layer of art takes away a part of his soul — the protagonist dives into madness and painful memories as the world shifts around him.

It was only revealed in September 2017 that Layers of Fear would be making it to Nintendo Switch, this time including the Inheritance DLC. Although Bloober Team won’t confirm a release date for Observer on Nintendo Switch, they won’t outright deny the possibility either.

As mentioned above, Layers of Fear: Legacy will be available for Nintendo Switch on February 21, 2018. Check out the brand new release trailer below:
