Today, Square Enix announced new information regarding its free-to-play role-playing title Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, which will include a limited time crossover character into the game.
According to the press release, to celebrate the impending release of the upcoming film adaptation of Tomb Raider (which is out in theatres on March 16), starting Friday, March 9 until Thursday, March 22, one of gaming’s most notable female protagonists and legendary treasure hunter protagonist Lara Croft will be a playable character in Final Fantasy Brave Exvius.
To obtain Lara as a playable character, players will be required to complete the first event stage or gather daily login bonuses, which will also be available from March 9 through March 21 and reward players with bountiful rewards including 10+1 Summon Ticket and Lapis.
In addition to Lara Croft as a (limited time) playable character, Square Enix also confirmed that this crossover event would provide players the opportunity to battle the Apep boss during the Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris raid. On top of that, all the characters in the game will be reskinned based on characters from Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris; this includes the Explorer Aileen and Pharaoh Abe; these skins can be acquired for a limited time via gacha summon pickups.
