While Kojima traveled the world before he started getting to work on Death Stranding, now, plenty of other developers have visited the veteran game developer to take a look at his latest creation. Most of the ones who have visited have left in awe, to say the least. The developers behind The Division 2 are the latest to take a look at Kojima’s Death Stranding, stating that the game will be “timeless.”
In a recent tweet, Julian Gerighty posted a picture of him with Hideo Kojima. In the tweet, he discussed how he has been able to make some incredible things and received support from other developers. However, he thanked Kojima for welcoming his team to his new studio and showing off his “mind-blowing” game. He ended the tweet saying “Trust me, Death Stranding will be timeless.”
Over the course of making #TheDivision2 we did many many awesome things and received support from many other developers.
Hugely thankful to @Kojima_Hideo for having welcomed us to his gorgeous studio and shown us his mind blowing game.

Of course, this isn’t the first time developers have seen behind closed doors looks at Death Stranding. Back in January, Control’s lead designer was able to take a look at the game and stated that he was more excited than ever for the title. Guerilla Games was able to take a look at the game as well during the month of January and they were very impressed. Then back in December, Cory Barlog was able to see the game for himself as well.
Death Stranding currently doesn’t have a release date, however, Kojima did announce that the game is taking a bit longer than expected. The Division 2 is set to release on March 15 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If you have not pre-ordered the game and would like to do so, you can pick the game up for PS4 right here through Amazon.
