Final Fantasy Brave Exvius for iOS and Android has previously been home to several interesting crossover and collaboration events. From other Square Enix games to celebrities like Katy Perry and Ariana Grande, this Square Enix mobile title with over 35 million downloads has certainly welcomed many different, and not always typical, collaborations. Today, we learned that Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is crossing over with one the 2018’s most anticipated games – Kingdom Hearts III.
Of course, this crossover event makes sense because Square Enix developers both popular franchises. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is no stranger with internal Square Enix crossovers either; in fact, the game has crossed over with Valkyrie Profile Lenneth, Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, and Tomb Raider this year alone.
As for the collaboration event itself, Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is receiving two Kingdom Hearts characters as well as a new raid event. Thanks to new Featured Summons, players will be able to net themselves Sora and a Kingdom Hearts version of Cloud to use in-game through January 11. Once Sora and Cloud are summoned players can take them into the Guard Armor raid event where magic-themed prizes can be won and Darkside can be fought.
Excitement for Kingdom Hearts III has really ramped this past month, with the game even being playable at Disney World. In fact, early leaks are rampant enough where DualShockers’ has created a guide to advise you on how to best avoid Kingdom Hearts III spoilers. Some copies of the game even made it out into the wild early so Director Tetsuya Nomura advised fans to try and avoid leaks and even suggested that the game’s epilogue and secret movie are locked behind a day one patch.
You can check out a brief trailer that highlights the event and promotes Kingdom Hearts III below. Final Fantasy Brave Exvius is currently available for iOS and Android while Kingdom Hearts III will finally be arriving for PS4 and Xbox One on January 29. If you still haven’t pre-ordered the game, you can currently do so on Amazon.
