Square Enix has shared some new artwork of Kairi in Kingdom Hearts III via the game’s official Twitter account. The two new images show Kairi wielding her Keyblade. You can check out the pictures down below.
Kairi is one of the original characters from the Kingdom Hearts series. Alongside both Riku and Sora – she made her debut in the first Kingdom Hearts on PlayStation 2 back in 2002. Kingdom Hearts III will be the conclusion to their story and the Dark Seeker Saga.
With Kingdom Hearts III being just two months away now, Square Enix has revved up promotion of the game across the Internet. The title just got a new trailer recapping some of the previously revealed Disney worlds after it was announced that the project had gone gold. Furthermore, we got another trailer showcasing the returning Winnie the Pooh world of Hundred Acre Wood. Don’t expect any shortage of trailers this month either, as we learned that three additional trailers are in the works for the game.
Outside of trailers, fans got their first look at the beautiful Japan-exclusive Kingdom Hearts III PS4 Slim yesterday. The west will be getting their own themed PS4 Pro, but in my opinion, it doesn’t hold a candle to the Japan-exclusive console.
Kingdom Hearts III will launch worldwide for PS4 and Xbox One on January 29. If you haven’t already, you can pre-order the game right now over on Amazon and get yourself an exclusive Keyblade in-game.
