Spider-Man fans are just now coming off of the hype of Insomniac Games’ newest release about the wall-crawler, but it looks like fans won’t have to wait much longer to see him again, albeit in a much smaller role. This morning a brand new trailer for Sony Pictures Animation’s upcoming film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse was released and in one shot we get to see, what’s more than likely, Insomniac Games’ version of the character.
At the 1:38 mark in the trailer, which you can check out in its entirety at the end of the article, you can see that, in the background, there appears to be the white-spider version of the suit in a case, which of course made it’s debut in Marvel’s Spider-Man last month when it hit PlayStation 4. While we only get to see part of the suit, there’s no denying that it’s Insomniac Games’ version.
In fact, it wasn’t long before Bill Rosemann, Marvel Game’s Executive Director, James Stevenson, the Community Director for Insomniac Games, and Yuri Lowenthal, the man who played Spider-Man himself in the game, began reacting to the news.
If for some reason you haven’t picked up Marvel’s Spider-Man and this trailer got you in the mood for some web-swinging, you can pick it up on Amazon by clicking here.
