After being announced all the way back last year, Mojang has finally released one of the biggest Minecraft updates to date.

The Caves and Cliffs update has been cooking for a while, with bits being teased to the audience every week. The update is so big that it’s having to be released in two parts.

One of the additions that was shown off in the game is a new mob/enemy named Warden. However, although the update is now live, players are having a hard time finding it.

Here’s how to find the Warden in Minecraft.

How to Find/How Can You Spawn the Warden?

The Warden can be found in deep, dark caves across Minecraft.

It is a blind mob, meaning that it can’t see you and instead hunts you down with the antenna on its head, listening to every sound you make and every footstep you take.

But why can’t players find or spawn it?

Did the Warden Get Released With Minecraft Caves and Cliffs Part One?

Unfortunately not – and that explains why players are having trouble finding and spawning the Warden.

Instead, eager players will have to wait for the second part of the Caves and Cliffs update to release before they can find the Warden.

This means that players still have a little time to wait as Mojang confirmed, when they first announced that it was splitting the update, that part Caves and Cliffs part two would be released “around the holiday season.”

Thankfully, there’s still plenty of new content to keep players busy until the Warden comes to haunt Christmas!
