It’s no secret that Cyberpunk 2077 has had a rocky launch. However, the people who are lucky enough to have the game in a playable state, seem to agree that overall it’s pretty good and as a result have been making some excellent fan content. Adding to the ever-growing pile of cosplay, fan art, and other fan creations is this video that imagines Cyberpunk 2077 as a PlayStation1 game, bugs and all.
Posted on Twitter by Anders Lundbjörk, a developer for Dreamon Studios, the video captures the essence of both the game and the aesthetics of the PS1 quite well. Through classic footstep sound effects, low poly cars and NPCs, and pixel-ey billboards, the video looks like a very convincing Cyberpunk PS1 mod. Additionally, the glitches it features have all been circling social media from t-poses to flying cars to Keanu Reeve’s face totally bugging out, this video captures it all.

Many people in the comments as well as the DualShockers staff want to get their hands on a copy of Cyberpunk PS1 for either nostalgia reasons or to just be able to play a working version of the game. Jokes comparing the unacceptable quality of the last-gen version of Cyberpunk 2077 and this last-last-last gen version permeate the comments as well.
For more fan-created content, an unofficial fan mod was shown off last week that changes the perspective of the game from first-person to third-person, and, honestly, it looks really good. You can read our full article on the mod right here.
Fair warning to all Cyberpunk players, however, because if it gets too big your save file might corrupt permanently. Take a look at our full coverage of that right here.
