Kadokawa Games revealed that God Wars: The Complete Legend will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 14. God Wars: The Complete Legend was previously announced by western publisher NIS America to make its way to the west but on Nintendo Switch only this Fall.
Instead of releasing the retail versions of God Wars: The Complete Legend on PS4 and PS Vita in the west, NISA will allow owners to download the additional story content for free via the respective PSN.
God Wars: The Complete Legend tells the story of three nations: Fuji, Izumo, and Hyuga. The land that these nations were built on was called Mizuho and was ran by a people who disliked conflict and honored their ancestral spirits. However, harmony can only last so long as humanity began to develop they neglected to honor these spirits and chaos slowly began to reign.
Players will assume the role of Kintaro, a young boy who has just saved his childhood from, Princess Kaguya, from being sacrificed. As they travel the lands they meet new resistance members and save the world from destruction.
God Wars: The Complete Legend features tactical RPG mechanics where players will move their tropes around a grid battlefield. Actions include Attack, Item, and Skills, offering players a range of ways to outsmart their AI opponents and claim victory.
