miHoYo has big plans in store for the Genshin Impact Version 1.7 live stream, as the leaked schedule revealed the official showcase of Inazuma will be different than what we’re used to.
The 1.7 live stream will fully reveal the Inazuma region, explaining its first Events and Archon Quests. We will also get official release dates for the Kamisato Ayaka gacha banner and the Yoimiya and Sayu gacha banner. Lastly, we’ll be seeing future Inazuma characters including Raiden Shogun and Guuji Yae.

How is this different from past streams? MihoYo hyping things up for Inazuma
So far, the Genshin Impact English live streams have all happened on YouTube. It looks like Twitch whipped out its wallet to monopolize the Inazuma showcase, and miHoYo also plans to reach a new audience and bring in new players with this move.
Moreover, usually, the English stream happens four hours after the Chinese one on Bilibili. With people like me translating the details shared live on the Japanese Genshin Twitter.
For the launch of Inazuma however, miHoYo doesn’t want to make any of its players wait, and everyone is getting the stream at the same time. It’ll be interesting to see if future streams will keep this way of doing things.
Genshin Impact Version 1.7 (2.0) with Inazuma should be launching on July 21, 2021, on PC, PS4, PS5, and Mobile.
