Forza Horizon 4 had a playable demo available at Gamescom 2018 in Cologne, Germany, and we were allowed to record gameplay to show you what it looks like.
The demo was brief but rather intense, featuring all four seasons, and including various kinds of racing surface, like dirt and snow.
We also were provided cars with extremely diverse handling, and the game plays like a dream.
Just a couple of disclaimers: you’ll see slightly strange cuts at certain points. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to use our own recording equipment, and the cards pre-attached to the Xbox One X simply cut the gameplay in chunks on its own, missing a few seconds between each. Also, the voice acting sounds robotic because it’s a placeholder. It will, of course, be replaced before the game launched.
You can check out the video below. If you want to see and learn more, you can read our hands-on preview from E3 2018, and see more gameplay from Summer, the footage shown about Autumn, more showcasing Winter, and another nice batch showing off Spring in the game and the city of Edinburgh.
Forza Horizon 4 launches on October 2nd for Xbox One and Windows 10. It can already be pre-ordered on Amazon.
