Recently, Fortnite entered its latest season. Transitioning into Chapter 2, Season 6, titled “Primal”.
With it came a load of new weapons, map changes, challenges, skins and so much more.
Players got to watch and then play through a live event which helped the latest transition make more sense.
Unfortunately, as most updates do, the Season 6 update caused one or two extra issues. Thankfully, Epic Games is fixing them now. Here are all the details you need to know about the March 19 Fortnite Maintenance Update.

We are deploying a maintenance patch on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox consoles and PS4|5.
You will be prompted to download the update after your match or before launching your game.
The patch will be available later on Android.

What’s changing in today’s update?
Today’s (March 19) Fortnite Maintenance Update doesn’t bring a whole lot of changes, instead, it fixes one or two issues caused when the game transitioned into the latest season.
The patch is available on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox S/X. It will also be available on Android later today. Players will be prompted to download the update when they next load the game, or when they finish their latest match.

The full patch notes for today’s (March 19) Fortnite Maintenance Update are as follows, directly from the Fortnite Status Twitter Account:
- Missing textures in some galleries in Creative mode.
- Unable to drop specific stacks of materials or ammo in Creative mode.
* Please note that you will need to replace props with missing textures already placed in Creative islands.
What else has changed with the latest season?
Within this season, players have the opportunity to hunt and tame wild animals, craft a variety of “Primal” weapons, unlock a range of new skins with the new Fortnite Battle Pass and so, so much more.
Some of the famous faces included in the new Battle Pass include Tomb Raider’s Lara Croft, and Paris St Germain and Brasil footballer Neymar Jr.
