Release Date – Prediction
Chapter 2: Season 5 began on December 2, 2020 and has just come to an end on March 16, 2021. The previous season lasted for over three months! Now, according to the official Fortnite website, Chapter 2: Season 6 is set to finish on June 7, 2021. Meaning the current season will last for around the three-month mark too. We predict Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 7 will kick off on either June 7, or the following day, June 8. However, we have seen seasons get delayed in the past, so no date is ever set in stone unless Epic Games says it is.
Battle Pass – Prediction
What can we expect from the Chapter 2: Season 7 Battle Pass? Well, it all depends on the theme of the season. If there are any collaborations planned, much like the Marvel x Fortnite collab in Chapter 2: Season 4, you can expect the Battle Pass to be themed around the collab.
Many fans have been speculating on a DC crossover, following on from the Batman x Fortnite comic books that were recently made available. Could we see an all out DC themed Battle Pass for Chapter 2: Season 7? Let us know what you’d like to see in the next Battle Pass in the comments below!
What we can expect from the Battle Pass is a lot of new cosmetics, emotes, and V-Bucks!
Early Predictions For Chapter 2: Season 7
Of course, as Chapter 2: Season 6 has only just kicked off, there’s not a single bit of information in the wild about Season 7. But it’s fun to make predictions, so here’s what we think could happen in Fortnite Chapter 2: Season 7.
Flashback To The Original Battle Royale Map
We know this is something that everyone wants to see, and the idea has definitely been beaten to death by now, but we’re still hopeful that one day we may be able to return to the original Fortnite map from Chapter 1. This doesn’t necessarily mean the storyline needs to change to suit the return of the OG map, it could appear as a Limited-Time Mode called ‘Flashback’. It is possible that it fits into the storyline, with all of the portals and alternate realities bouncing around in the latest season, could we see a return to the original Battle Royale map?
The End Of Agent Jones
We were surprised that Chapter 2: Season 6 wasn’t the end for Agent Jones, so we’re making a strong prediction that we could see our beloved rouge agent meet his demise at the beginning of Chapter 2: Season 7. We’re not quite sure how, but with The Foundation clearly not being too friendly with him, and Agent Jones already turning his back on his boss, Doctor Slone, could things take a turn for the worse?
New Mechanics
It looks like Epic Games enjoys mixing up the way we play, after recently introducing a Crafting system in Chapter 2: Season 6. This wasn’t the only recent change made to the Battle Royale gameplay, Season 5 saw the introduction of interactable NPC’s and more. So, it’s clear that Epic are regularly looking to include new gameplay mechanics, but what could come next? We expect some sort of gunsmith to soon be introduced to Fortnite, possibly in Season 7. We’d love to be able to use different attachments or scopes on different weapons, and personalise the game to how we want to play. But could this be too much of a change? Let us know in the comments below!
DC x Fortnite Collab
After the huge success of the Marvel collaboration in Chapter 2: Season 4, we think a new collab with DC is a no brainer. There’s been a lot of talk surrounding Batman joining the Fortnite universe, and we’re not surprised after the Batman x Fortnite comic books. Could Epic Games be holding out until Season 7 to do an all-out DC collab featuring Batman and other DC heroes? We’re hoping so!
