iam8bit is currently taking pre-orders for the music of Florence. Florence is a mobile game on iOS and Android created by Monument Valley Designer Ken Wong. Playing as a young woman named Florence, you journey through her adult life and a romantic relationship. When the game came out on Valentine’s Day last year it received high acclaim for it’s simplistic yet beautiful storytelling and one the a main reasons for that successful storytelling was due to the music. It was later recognized in December at The Game Awards as the Best Mobile Game of the year. While a short experience, it is definitely worth your time playing.
The Florence soundtrack vinyl only has 1,000 copies available for a $30 price tag. If this interests you I would pick it up as soon as possible with it being in such little supply. The case features the leading lady with a “Cello Yellow” background which is recognized as the game’s featured color throughout. The vinyl itself is also in Cello Yellow. Additionally, the vinyl comes with a digital copy of the soundtrack.
iam8bit is a website known for mainly selling Video Game soundtracks on vinyl. On their site, you can find vinyls for popular games like Undertale, Doki Doki Literature Club, and Gone Home.
You can purchase the Florence soundtrack vinyl here. The vinyl is set to be shipped some time during Q2 of this year. If you have yet to play Florence you can purchase the game either on iOS or Android for $2.99 in the App Store and Google Play Store.
