Zoink Games’ Flipping Death was first unveiled over a year ago, and until today only had a vague Spring 2018 release window. While we learned today that the game will unfortunately not be releasing this Spring, Zoink Games did give a us a new release window: August 2018.
This reveal also came with confirmation that Flipping Death will also be available on PC and Xbox One at launch. That being said, the game will still only be available physically on PS4 and Nintendo Switch, courtesy of Rising Star Games. While we are still without a specific release date for Flipping Death, nailing down a launch month shows more confidence from the developers of when exactly the game will be done, as opposed to a vague seasonal window.
Flipping Death follows the story of Penny, who dies and ends up becoming Death itself. When it comes to gameplay, this title lets players flip between that land of the living and the land of the dead in order to solve platforming and puzzle challenges.
Flipping Death is currently poised to launch on Nintendo Switch, PC, PS4, and Xbox One sometime in August. You can currently pre-order the physical version of the game on Amazon.
