Today Square Enix hosted a first-anniversary livestream for Final Fantasy XV, following the broadcast that came this morning from Japan.

Among the goodies we saw was the opening cutscene of the upcoming DLC Episode Ignis that will be released on PS4 and Xbox One on December 13th.

The information shared during the livestream was mostly the same as this morning, so you can just check out our dedicated article for that.

On top of that, we get some more information about what’s coming for the Comrades expansion. More costumes and hairstyles are coming, and the team is planning on updates at least for a year. The mining bug that allowed players to mine for free in some cases, will also be solved with the next update.

You can check out the videos below, including a video message from Director Hajime Tabata celebrating the anniversary and thanking the fans for the support. As a bonus, you can also take a look at the character swapping feature coming with the December update in 1080p, since this broadcast was streamed in higher resolution than the Japanese one.

Final Fantasy XV is currently available for PS4 and Xbox One and will launch for PC via Steam in early 2018. If you want to learn more about the game, you should definitely read our recent interview with Director Hajime Tabata and our full review of the game from last year.
