Today, during a livestream on Twitch from Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix announced crossover content coming to Final Fantasy XV.
A whole new storyline featuring Hironobu Sakaguchi’s upcoming mobile game Terra Wars will be added, featuring Sara from the Terra series.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will also make an appearance with themed outfits and music for your Regalia’s radio.
A third collaboration with the mobile game DJ Nobunaga will also bring more cosmetic items.
Bemani Games’ DJ Yoshitaka will also create remixed music for the game.
The content will come very soon, on September 25th.
The crossovers work both ways, so the franchises mentioned above will also get bonus content from Final Fantasy XV.
We also got a mention of the announced standalone release of the Comrades expansion, which was previously scheduled for the summer. It has been delayed, and information on a new launch window will come at a later date. We’ll also have to wait for more info on the upcoming DLC Episode I; Ardyn, Episode Side Story: Aranea, Episode II: Lunafreya, and Episode III: Noctis, as the timing isn’t yet right to provide more clues on those. All we know is that they’re scheduled for early next year.
You can watch a trailer for the crossovers below.
