The 1st Class Soldier Edition of the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake is once again available to pre-order over at the Square Enix Store.
What sets this edition apart from the Final Fantasy 7 Remake Collector’s Edition is the inclusion of the highly detailed and poseable Play Arts Kai figures of Cloud Strife and his motorcycle, the Hardy Dayton. This highly sought after edition is only available through Square Enix’s online store, and in small supply.
For collectors, it’s nice to see that the Final Fantasy 7 Remake 1st Class Edition is once again available, but it’s hard to say how long it will stay this way. The price tag for this bundle is rather steep, at $329.99. However, the quality of the Play Arts Kai figure is superb and is worth the premium price tag. If you were on the fence before or were bummed you missed out on snagging one of the initial pre-orders, this very well could be your last chance to do so.
There’s been no official statement from Square Enix on whether they just have more stock available now or these new orders are from canceled orders. Honestly, we only found out about the pre-orders when I went on and checked my order status and noticed it was available again, so you better act fast if you want your own 1st Class Edition!
Currently, Final Fantasy 7 Remake will be available worldwide next week on April 10, but that could change. Things seem to be in a bit of a flux, as EB Games of Australia began publicly promoting the game was available now. Yesterday, fans were noticing that the pre-loading date had been moved up to start tomorrow. All of this comes on the heels of Square Enix revealing that they had decided to ship the physical copies to Europe and Australia early to help facilitate the shipping concerns to help ensure players would have their copies on the scheduled launch date.
