Earlier this month, EA revealed EA Sports UFC 3 for PS4 and Xbox One. DualShockers had the chance to play the game early and speak with one of the developers back when the sports title was announced, but now all players have a chance to try out the game before it launches in February via an Open Beta which began today.
As I mentioned before, the EA Sports UFC 3 Open Beta began today, and it will run until December 4 at 11:59pm PST. Four of the game’s modes are included in this Open Beta: Fight Now, Online Quick Fight, Practice Mode and UFC Ultimate Team.
This beta will also let players see the game’s improved graphics animation. EA Sports UFC 3 uses a new animation technology called Real Player Motion (abbreviated as RPM). RPM allowed the game’s developers to add over 5,000 brand new animations captured, making players’ actions way more seamless than before.
EA Sports UFC 3 is currently poised to release on February 2, 2018 on PS4 and Xbox One. Outside of the base game, players can purchase EA Sports UFC 3 Champions Edition to gain access to the game three days early, a UFC champion for UFC Ultimate Team, and 20 Premium Packs for that same mode.
