Of all the new games revealed last year during E3 2018, Techland’s Dying Light 2 is still one game we don’t know a whole lot about. Luckily, that should soon be changing in the coming weeks as we approach this year’s E3 convention.
As announced over on Twitter today, it was confirmed that Dying Light 2 will again be headed to Los Angeles this year and will be present at E3 2019. “We’re bringing Dying Light 2 to #E3. We can’t wait to show you the latest look at our most ambitious project to date,” said the message shared via the game’s official Twitter account.
As for what we might see of Dying Light 2, well, it’s hard to say at the moment. You’d imagine Techland will show off a fair amount of new gameplay footage for the project and a potential release window for the game could be in play as well. And much like last year, it would make sense for the game to appear during Microsoft’s E3 press event, especially considering Sony won’t be at the show in June.
Regardless of what Techland has to share about Dying Light 2, I’m really excited to see more. I got to check out the game in a behind-closed-doors demo last year and it looked incredible. The finished product looks like it could be very special.
As of now, Dying Light 2 still doesn’t have a release window but when it arrives it will likely be coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
