Atlus and Vanillaware released a new TV commercial for the Japanese version of the upcoming Dragon’s Crown remaster Dragon’s Crown Pro.
The video is brief, as usual for the TV commercial format, lasting only fifteen seconds. Yet, it still shows a nice little glimpse of gameplay.
The remaster is going to be pretty much the same as the original game, just with higher-resolution visuals up to native 4K on PS4 Pro. While this might be disappointing for some, keeping the feature-set the same allowed Vanillaware to implement full cross-play and cross-save with PS3 and PS Vita. Given that this is a fairly niche game, having a bigger community to play online with was probably considered a priority over adding content and features.

Dragon’s Crown Pro will release in Japan on February 8th, 2018 exclusively for PS4. It will then release in the west in Spring 2018.
