The opening cinematic of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is included further below.
Moreover, we also learned that Dragon Ball Cardass cards will be featured in Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot. There are over 100 cards in total, with many different ways to obtain them, like clearing sidequests. This was confirmed for the Japanese version via magazine leaks.
The same leaks also mention Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will have a “Visual Mode”, which is a gallery allowing players to watch cutscenes, listen to BGMs, and the like. Using pictures, the game will also let players check story elements before the events of Dragon Ball Z. As in the early days of the manga/the Dragon Ball anime, with Goku’s childhood days and stuff.
Over on Twitter, Bandai Namco also revealed Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot includes a Gohan baseball minigame:
Hey batter, batter, batter, batter, batter! Swing, batter! Show off your Saiyan strength with a baseball match in DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT.
