We are now only two weeks away from the release of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, the latest Dragon Ball Z game which recounts the show’s saga in an RPG format. In anticipation of its release, Bandai Namco Entertainment released an overview trailer, though it plays out in a charming way. In the style of previews that would play at the end of Dragon Ball Z episodes, the trailer lets players know what they can expect “this time on Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot.”
In a typical fashion for overview trailers, this video eases players into the game while showcasing the various characters they will meet and sagas they will play through. That being said, the trailer is also keen to shine a light on side activities like flying, fishing and training. If you are a Dragon Ball fan and are still uneasy about Kakarot, this video may be able to finally win you over.
If you want to learn more about the game, DualShockers had an extensive interview with Producer Hara Ryosuke and Director Kimoto Kazuki at E3 2019 and previewed the game too. More recently, Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’s opening cinematic was released. You can check out the game’s latest trailer below. Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot will release for PC, PS4 and Xbox One on January 17 and can be pre-ordered via Amazon.
