Bandai Namco Entertainment has released a new trailer showcasing some previously revealed free content that’s available now in Dragon Ball FighterZ’s latest update. In particular, the trailer shows off a new stage, seasonal Z Capsule loot, and new ranks that can be achieved in Ranked matches. You can check out the trailer for yourself down below.
The new stage is called Galactic Arena. It’s an entirely unique stage to Dragon Ball FighterZ. Last week, Bandai Namco showed off some screenshots of the stage. Galactic Arena will allow players to display their FighterZ profiles on giant screens in the stage’s background.
Seasonal Z Capsules will also be making their debut in this update. Halloween is the first theme, so you can now get Z Capsules that’ll give you custom lobby characters, Halloween-colored character costumes, and special Z Stamps. Bandai Namco revealed these seasonal items with some screenshots a few days ago.
Lastly, Dragon Ball FighterZ will be getting new online rankings for players to fight for. I’m pretty bummed as I just managed to reach Majin in the game… but okay Arc System Works, I’ll keep climbing. The trailer ends by saying more free content will be coming soon.
Dragon Ball FighterZ is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game will be coming to Nintendo Switch on September 28. You can pre-order it on Amazon now if you haven’t already.
